Earlier today, Pakistan was attacked twice a day. The first attack was at the Chinese embassy in Karachi that caused major chaos in the nearby areas. Two policemen lost their lives in the pursuit of three gunmen, all belong to the hands of Balochistan Liberation Army.

And then, unfortunately, Pakistan was hit again at lower Orakzai Agency in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This attack killed approximately 25 people and almost 35 were injured badly in an explosion. These explosions put fear in the peoples of Pakistan. These attacks also linked with the Balochistan Liberation Army.
This incident caused many lives. In the Chinese embassy attack, two police officers lost their lives including one private security guard. The police officers were identified as Assistant Sub Inspector Ashraf Dawood and Constable Amir, while the private security guard was identified as Muhammad Juman.
According to the report, two civilians, a father and son, named Zahir Shah and Abdul Karim, were also killed in the attack. Three terrorists were killed in the operation by security forces, according to Sindh Police and the army’s media wing.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Geng Shuang during a regular press conference said that the Chinese staff and their families were safe in the attack. He said,
China strongly condemns any violent attacks against diplomatic agencies and requests that Pakistan takes practical measures to ensure the safety of Chinese citizens and institutions in the country.
The Deputy Chief of Mission at the Chinese embassy, Lijian Zhao, also said that,
The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan strongly condemns the terrorist attack against the Chinese Consulate-General in Karachi.
This statement clearly said that no Chinese citizens were killed and injured.

Prime Minister Imran Khan also condemn about the terrorist attack that happened in Karachi and Orakzai. He said that both attacks are part of a planned campaign to create disruption/ unrest in the country by those who do not want Pakistan to progress. Imran Khan talked about the relationship between Pakistan and China and said,
Such incidents will never be able to undermine the Pak-China relationship that is mighter than Himalaya and deeper than Arabian Sea.

The failed attack against the Chinese Consulate was clearly a reaction to the unprecedented trade agreements that resulted from our trip to China. The attack was intended to scare Chinese investors and undermine CPEC. These terrorists will not succeed.
